COURSE OVERVIEW 

The M.Tech. in Power System Engineering is a program designed to provide advanced knowledge and skills in modern power systems, focusing on analysis, stability evaluation, planning, reliability, and forecasting. The curriculum covers advanced topics such as high-voltage DC transmission, industrial electronics, power electronics and drives, renewable energy systems (wind and solar), and advanced computing techniques using microprocessors and microcontrollers. With an emphasis on addressing real challenges in power generation, transmission, distribution, and utilization, the program integrates theory and experience through laboratories and practical projects. 

Students gain expertise in economic, sustainable, and efficient energy generation, along with project management skills for cost and time-constrained environments.
